Small fish in a big pond

"I will admit to having developed an irrational dislike of it that’s out of all proportion to its actual impact or relevance. After all, it’s merely a small turd in the big pharma blog swimming pool. And sure, you don’t have to look at it or even go near it, but just knowing it’s there taints the whole experience." ~ PharmaGiles

Why is everyone deciding to give up now? Is this a bug going around akin to the flu?

Well read my latest post. I think there’s a lot of people out there who think we are all venomous anti-psychiatry. I was called that in a comment at Furious Seasons, by a MOTHER.

    Stephany,
I think her comment might have been taken out of context. I don’t think she was trying to be rude or offensive. Her tone doesn’t reflect that to me. I think she meant to say that time would be better spent doing other things rather than complaining about an industry that we can’t change.
Sadly, that comment makes me feel even smaller with my tiny blog.
I’d wait and see what her response to you is. She’ll probably apologize.

She has a new response. I’m not responding to her.

This doesn’t sound as nice as you wrote it Marissa:
“spending all your time and energy posting your venom and vituperations against the psychiatric community here. You have a responsibility to your daughter. You are her mother whether she is four or eighteen.”
