Laid off

Laid off. For now. Tomorrow's my birthday. Joy. I've been dealing with social anxiety lately anyway so it's kind of a mixed blessing but I could really use the money! *shrugs* I'm "on-call" for the busy days. I don't see any busy days ahead and my boss says things will pick up again in March. I hope so.

In the meantime, maybe I can finally motivate myself to do freelance writing?

Yeah, right. And I'll motivate myself to be the Queen of England while I'm at it.

I’ve encountered quite a few people online who have been laid off. It’s amazing to me that one little word can have such positive and negative uses.
I’m sorry to be the bearer of more bad news, but the Queen’s position isn’t open for applications. Bummer. ;)
Freelance writing can be a hard gig. You have to write about things that will generally bore you. That’s one reason I’ve not pursued it, though it can be lucrative if you’re prolific. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

What major suckage, I’m really sorry. There are no words that don’t sound like one-off bullshit, but I’m thinking about ya.

I’m really sorry about that. Hopefully you are still able to enjoy your birthday tomorrow (Happy Birthday!) and perhaps in the interim you will find some sort of project or some such to keep you busy/occupied.

    Happy Birthday.
Look at it this way .Now you have the time to write your novel. Or compose. Or paint. Or do what ever you want to do.

Are you taking supplements? I just went from major- messed-up to feeling really well with D-Phenylalanine, L-Tryptophan, and a little 5HTP three times a day with Vitamins C and B6.
