I haven’t used the mood rating system (left sidebar) on this blog since 2006. Since I’ve been struggling with suicidal thoughts recently, I’ll be posting mood rating updates. I’ve created a "Mood Rating" category for myself so I can keep track of the progression or (non-progression) of my depression. They’ll likely include no more information than the following:
Current Mood Rating: 3
Current Mood Rating

Do you mind if I borrow your rating system for myself and my blog? I’d attribute it, if that’s the right way to say it, to you of course.
I’ve been having a hard time tracking my moods. I make everything too complicated. KISS should always be my rule for everything in life but it’s certainly not in my nature.

I love how simple this rating scale is, too. Right now I’m inbetween a 3 and a 4.

I know I ought to give daily mood rating another try, but every time I do, I end up getting hypersensitive to my moods, and pathologizing every little fluctuation.

Just saw you Creative Commons. It might help if I’d look before I leaped.
Sorry.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling depressed. Hope you feel better soon. One of my favorite depression antidotes these days is exercise. There’s a nice piece on it on the site http://www.ownyourhealth.wordpress.com.

John,
Go ahead. I don’t mind.
